Testimonials

Shearbarn Holiday Park, Hastings

Route have been working with Shearbarn Holiday Park in Hastings since May 2013. Our initial remit was to review their food and drink, cellar gas, cleaning and stationery suppliers and we were able to produce savings of around £9,000 a year.

More recently we’ve assisted with the sourcing and installation of soft drinks and bakery machinery and also introduced a specialist fresh fish supplier.

“I have been hugely impressed with Route’s service over the past three years. Robert’s expertise and knowledge of the market are second to none and his advice has been crucial in helping to shape not only our procurement strategy but several key operational aspects of the business. That’s in addition to the significant savings and improved service from our supplier base. I would not hesitate to recommend them.”

We have provided advice and negotiated prices for a range of products and consumables including snacks, bar furniture and cleaning products as well as negotiating better pricing with their existing drinks provider.

“Route have been a fantastic help over the past 7 years. It’s great to have a single point of contact for purchasing – they resolve any supplier issues on our behalf and as well as saving us money, they have taken away a lot of the hassle and headache of dealing with purchasing and multiple suppliers.

The regular meetings are great and allow me to keep on top of what’s happening without getting bogged down in the details.”

Ian Campbell has worked with Route Organisation for over 15 years, having first used our services when he was at Greater Manchester Police Sports Club. When he became treasurer of Grange Fell Golf Club, Route was the natural choice for Ian to help out with the club’s purchasing requirements.

Since October 2013, we have arranged telecoms, insurance, cellar gas, drinks, cleaning products, pest control and electric, generating a minimum of £6,500 in savings a year.

“I have worked with Route for many years and view them very much as a trusted partner. Rob and the team are always available to talk through any issues I have and their advice is sound and reliable. They have also negotiated significant savings on various supplier contracts. This year for instance, I saved double Route’s fee on insurance alone.”

As an owner manager you don’t always get time to check the details or look at all the aspects of your purchasing but Route take all that on which gives me the opportunity to focus on running the business.
